Since his explosive arrival into motorsport, delayed by his exceptional academic commitments, the superlatives have been as numerous as his race wins and pole positions. Instinctive, determined and a real talent have all been used to describe Dan and his racing aptitude.

 

Dan Wells is in his quest to succeed at the pinnacle of world motorsport. He is Vice Champion of both the Formula Renault UK Finals Series in 2011 and the Formula Pilota China Championship in 2012 where he took 3 wins and 9 podiums. In 2013, after 11 months out of the car raising the funds required to race, he took a front row qualifying position and finished 2nd in the FMCS Macau Grand Prix race. In 2014, Dan is currently fighting for the overall Formula Masters China Series title. 

 

No stranger to being an underfunded driver, Dan was faced with the immediate threat at the end of 2011 that he would never sit in a car again if he didn’t raise the funding himself. He duly took up the challenge and managed to race an entire single seater championship in 2012. He came to Hong Kong knowing just one person but instantly built up his network and along the journey he picked up some fantastic supporters, namely Jonathan Cummings, Managing Director of the Multi-Channel Brand Agency Start JG in Asia, and the whole hearted support of the Asia based KCMG racing team.

 

Dan's acceleration to the top will see likely see him race in Japanese Formula 3, Super Formula and Le Mans in the near future.
