2010 - present

Dan Wells is a young British Racing driver who moved to Hong Kong in April 2012 in order to create new opportunities that will see him reach the pinnacle of motorsport.

Very few drivers have adapted to produce results in such immediate fashion, but after claiming five poles and five class wins in Formula Ford, Wells went on to achieve Vice Champion status in the 2011 Formula Renault UK Finals Series and 2012 Formula Pilota China Series. In 2013, he produced a stunning drive to second position at the Macau Grand Prix on his debut at the prestigious event.

Currently under the guidance of Ian Phillips, former Director of Business Affairs at Force India Formula One Team, he significantly impressed in his debut F3 test in Valencia in 2013 with 8 time British F3 Champions Carlin Motorsport.

In 2014, he went on to take 12 podiums from 18 races in the Formula Masters China Series, with an extremely strong end to the season which saw him take 5 podiums consecutively, winning on the two last race weekends of the year. He made his debut in British F3 with the Double R Racing team, where he took a podium in his first ever F3 race, and was awarded the Mobil One Driver of the Weekend Award.

The opportunity arose to compete in the final round of the Japanese F3 Championship with Toda Racing, and Dan duly delivered, out-qualifying his Honda-backed, experienced team mate Shota Kiyohara at the Fuji Speedway. Dan also competed in the Macau F3 GP with Toda Racing.
